Quito what we learned
- Spanish – lots of it – Mucho beueno
- The Spanish for coffee is Cafe
- The ladies in Quito carry their babies around, no pushchairs have been seen. This is probably due to the steepness of the hills.
- ll can be pronounced in one of 3 ways all are correct!
- There are 2 verbs for “to be” each is used for different things all this has to be learned!
- The prostitutes in Quito are happy to solicitate couples.
- Quito is built on many hills to keep us fit and you have to be careful not to trip up.
- You need to be careful with your possessions and if someone tells you a bird has shit on you and they will help you walk away.
- Lunch is the biggest meal of the day but you can always get a restaurant meal of the day for under $3 if you ask for the set meal
- Chocolate is Delicious
- Taxis are cheap and the best way to get around
