After our first 2 days in Vancouver we headed off for a little road trip. Our first destination was Kamloops.
The drive took about 4 hours which we split into 2 section. Not long along the route we spotted in the opposite direct a convoy of one 100 lorries and later found out that this was a protest heading towards Vancouver.
The drive was picturesque and after discovering our car has self steering which was initially a bit disconcerting we soon adapted.
After a couple of hours we found a place to stop in a small town called Hope . The town had been one of the gold rush towns and clearly brought hope to a lot of people but the reality was doubtless much different.
